Preventive Dental Care
Good dentistry starts with prevention; therefore, it is not limited to the treatment of oral diseases. Preventive dentistry is the cornerstone for the longevity of teeth and their support structures, enhancing health and life quality with a minimum of discomforts. The genesis of most common oral diseases, such as tooth decay, gingivitis, and periodontitis, which often lead to tooth loss, is related to the accumulation of food remains, saliva, and bacteria that will lead to plaque and tartar formation in the oral cavity. In-office removal of bacterial plaque and tartar, combined with meticulous daily oral hygiene habits at home, will prevent and reduce the occurrence of oral diseases, thus building and maintaining oral health.

Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is an aesthetic, minimally invasive, and effective treatment for most patients, used to brighten the outermost enamel layer of the teeth. It is carried out by applying a gel to the tooth surface; contact of the active ingredient in the gel with the enamel surface causes a change in the color of the tooth, resulting in a brighter appearance.
We offer in-office and outpatient teeth whitening in our practice.

Temporomandibular Disorders
The exact cause of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) is not always clear, and they can stem from various factors, including excessive tension in the muscles of mastication and facial expression, trauma to the jaw, head, and neck, as well as systemic conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. Stress, anxiety, genetic predisposition, and hormonal imbalances are also considered risk factors. Among the most common TMD are bruxism and clenching, both of which can significantly impact tooth structure and quality of life. These disorders often manifest through teeth grinding and clenching, which may occur during the day, at night during sleep, or both.
General signs and symptoms of TMD include worn teeth, clenching or grinding of teeth, teeth pain, jaw discomfort, difficulty in chewing, difficulty in opening or closing the mouth, headaches, and pain or tension in the muscles of the face, neck, and temporomandibular joint, particularly upon waking up or at the end of the day.
Understanding the underlying cause of TMD is crucial for implementing effective control measures to manage and potentially alleviate the disorder.

Composite Fillings
Composite fillings, also known as tooth-colored fillings, are a modern dental solution for repairing cavities or restoring damaged teeth. Composed of a durable resin material, composite fillings blend seamlessly with natural tooth color, providing a discreet and aesthetically pleasing alternative to traditional silver amalgam fillings. This versatile treatment not only restores the structural integrity of the tooth but also offers excellent durability and resistance to further decay.

Ceramic Veneers
Ceramic veneers offer a beautiful solution for transforming the size, shape, and color of teeth. Whether addressing deep stains resistant to whitening, multiple old composites, or congenitally small or malformed teeth, porcelain veneers can significantly enhance one’s smile.
In the pursuit of conservative treatment, it is essential to minimize the removal of tooth structure when preparing for veneers. In some instances, no tooth structure removal is necessary. It may also be advisable to complete orthodontic treatment before considering veneers, particularly to preserve healthy tooth structure.
A personalized comprehensive evaluation is crucial to determine specific patient goals and desires. This evaluation considers factors such as facial profile, smile aesthetics, gum display, tooth positioning, proportions, shade, and their harmony with the lips and overall facial features.

Implant Restorations
The absence of teeth, whether partial or total, can significantly impact chewing, speaking, breathing, and appearance, potentially compromising both physical and mental health. In cases where it’s not feasible to restore a patient’s natural teeth, implants serve as the foundation for restoring dental function and aesthetics. With proper in-office maintenance and diligent at-home oral hygiene habits, implants offer long-term positive outcomes and prognosis.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation
Full mouth rehabilitation is a comprehensive and intricate treatment aimed at restoring aesthetics, structure, function, and oral health for patients, ultimately enhancing their self-esteem and quality of life. This extensive process demands a deep understanding of dental structures, their support systems, as well as the joints and muscles of the face, head, and neck. Often, it necessitates the collaboration of a multidisciplinary team of dental specialists. Candidates for this treatment typically exhibit significant breakdown of the stomatognathic system due to various factors, including trauma, erosion from eating disorders or gastric reflux, bruxism-induced dental wear, congenital absence of multiple teeth, congenital enamel abnormalities or deficiencies, and the need to replace older dental work.
